Policies and Procedures

Medication Refill Policy: All prescription requests will often take 24 business hours to complete.  Prescriptions that have to be written by a physician, such as triplicates, will take 72 business hours.  It is best if you call the office a few days before you run out of your medication.  We will also try to provide sample medications if available.

Appointment Policy: We require a two hour notice for cancellation of an appointment.  If cancellation notice is not given, it counts as a “no show”.  Three no show appointment may cause you to be dismissed from the practice.

Referral Policy: If your insurance requires a referral from us to see a specialist, please request this two days in advance.  It is your responsibility, as the patient to verify that the specialist is covered by your insurance.

Payment Policy: Payment is required at the time of service.  We cannot waive your insurance co-pay.  If there are financial difficulties that need to be addressed, we will work with you as much as possible while respecting Trinity Clinic guidelines and the Insurance Company’s conditions of participation.

Your medical care: It is safer to handle questions about your medical care during business hours. If you see a physician or staff member in passing outside the clinic, and have a question about your medical care, please remember it is medically safer to have you call the office during normal business hours to handle the issue.  It is simply not possible for us to remember all the details found in your medical chart, and practicing medicine without the benefit of your chart could increase the risk of medical errors that could harm you.

Your confidentiality: Your interaction with us is confidential.  We will usually not ask about your medical condition when we see you in public because it is difficult to assure that someone will not overhear our conversation.

Phone calls: The staff members make every attempt to return calls the same business day.
